Students undertaking the correlate sequence must complete 6 units. All students must take AFRS 100 - Introduction to Africana Studies . In addition, students must take one course from three of the five different Africana regions: (1) Africa, (2) the North Atlantic, (3) the Arab World, (4) the Caribbean and Latin America, and/or (5) the Indian Ocean. At least one unit must be at the 300-level. Language study cannot be counted towards the correlate.
