Vassar Students Occupy Wall Street

When the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations began on September 17, Vassar students were there. They've continued to remain involved as active participants, marching across the Brooklyn Bridge on October 1, taking part in demonstrations in New York City and Boston during fall break, and more. Now, the Occupy movement is poised to come to Poughkeepsie, while students host an Occupy Wall Street teach-in on Vassar's campus this month. Read More …

Merrill Brockway, legendary Emmy Award-winning producer/director of the PBS series, "Dance in America," comes to Vassar this month for a Sesquicentennial-themed event.
