On the Ground in China: Ambassador Nicholas Platt

While serving as Vassar’s first Ambassador in Residence, China specialist and former U.S. ambassador Nicholas Platt delivered the C. Mildred Thompson Lecture. Platt, who accompanied President Richard Nixon on his historic trip to China in 1972, discussed that diplomatic mission, as well as today's U.S.-China relations. Read More …
