Vassar’s Fulbright Scholars

Eleven Vassar students—including Rachael Borne (pictured)—were granted Fulbright Fellowships that will support plans to teach and conduct research in several countries as far away as Vietnam, Argentina, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan. Vassar ranks fifth in producing Fulbright Scholars compared to other bachelor’s degree-granting institutions, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education. Read More …

Women Do Indeed Compute

Jake Hoffman ’07 and Peter Winne ’07, two-thirds of the folk trio Tumbling Bones, talk about their music, their inspiration, and the significant part Vassar played—and still plays—in their success.
