Remembering Art Historian Linda Nochlin '51

Art News remembers art historian, feminist, and author Linda Nochlin '51, who passed away on Sunday, October 29. Nochlin will be remembered for many things, including her work as an art history professor at Vassar and Yale University, her seminal 1971 essay, "Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?", and the books she penned, including her most recent published book, Women Artists: The Linda Nochlin Reader. Mapping the Emerald Ash Borer Invasion
