Andrew Meade, Director of International Services and Assistant Dean of Student Growth & Engagement, and Wendy Maragh Taylor, Associate Dean of the College for Student Growth & Engagement, received U.S. Department of State Afghan Placement and Assistance (APA) program funding through an International Rescue Committee (IRC) grant.

Thomas Porcello & Justin Patch

Thomas Porcello, Professor of Anthropology and Dean of Studies, and Justin Patch, Associate Professor of Music, are co-authors of Re-Making Sound: An Experiential Approach to Sound Studies, newly published by Bloomsbury Academic. Re-Making Sound guides readers through multiple ways of conceptualizing sound and its links to social phenomena.

George Ciccariello-Maher

George Ciccariello-Maher, Visiting Associate Professor of Political Science, is the author of Anticolonial Eruptions: Racial Hubris and the Cunning of Resistance, forthcoming for 2022 from the University of California Press. This study explores the reversal of the balance of power between the oppressor and the oppressed.

Anne Brancky

Anne Brancky, Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies, is the author of The Crimes of Marguerite Duras: Literature and Media in Twentieth-Century France, recently published by Cambridge University Press. This work explores a new framework for analyzing Duras’ literary works and journalism.
