Vassar’s Exploring Transfer program inspires community college students to earn a four-year degree. Now the College is encouraging other institutions to create such programs of their own.
Ten Vassar students spent the summer working for not-for-profit organizations in Poughkeepsie under the auspices of the Office of Community-Engaged Learning’s Community Fellows program.
Vassar was recognized for its outstanding contributions to the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International with two major awards this year. The Office of Residential Life received the President’s Service Award, and Luis Inoa, Associate Dean of the College for Residential Life and Wellness, was recognized for outstanding contributions by a professional of color.
