Emily Claire Antenucci
Visiting Assistant Professor of Italian
Emily Antenucci holds a PhD and MA in Italian Studies from New York University and a BA from Vassar College in Italian and Drama. Her research and teaching interests are in 20th- and 21st-century Italian literary and cultural production with particular emphasis on women writers, feminist thought, auto/biography, and social movements. Her forthcoming publications include “Staging Interruption: Quotation, Montage, and Feminist Thought in Carla Lonzi’s Autoritratto” in The Italianist, and “Legacies and Futures of Italian Feminism in Espérance Hakuzwimana’s E poi basta: Manifesto di una donna nera italiana” in the edited volume Italian Feminist Thought Today and Tomorrow.
