Shona Tucker
Shona Tucker joined the faculty as the Acting Professor in August 2008. The day before she was performing at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, OR, where she was a company member for three years. In addition to her ongoing relationship with OSF, Ms. Tucker has an affiliation with Half Moon Theatre Company of Poughkeepsie, and is a Usual Suspect of New York Theater Workshop, The Actors Center, Lincoln Center Directors™ Lab. She has strong interests in taking literature from all over the world and adapting it for the stage. Ms Tucker is a Schomburg Fellow and a Fulbright Scholar. She has a BS in Speech from Northwestern University and an MFA in Acting from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program.
