Carolyn Pallister-Kulic
Carolyn holds her MFA in Theatrical Design from The University of Georgia and has a BA from The State University of New York At Albany. She worked as the Costume Designer/Coordinator for the Dance Department of The Juilliard School and was Head of Wardrobe for The Richmond Ballet, and for The American Songbook (Lincoln Center Jazz) which included artists such as Duncan Sheik, Elaine Stritch, Megan Mullaly, Audra McDonald, Norah Jones, and Bette Midler.
Costume Design credits include: Up The Sideways Mountain (Brandon Becker for The Richmond Ballet), Farewell (Igal Perry’s Tribute to Benjamin Harkarvey), Discoveries Uncovered (Jessica Lang). Choreographers and Composers at The Juilliard School which included work by Peter Chu, Shannon Gillen, and Andrea Miller.
Theatrical Costume Design credits include: King Lear, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Love’s Labour’s Lost, All’s Well That Ends Well, and Much Ado About Nothing (Boomerang Theatre Company)
Off Broadway Shows: The Capital Mall (Steenstein Production) and Rosencrantz and Guildernstern are Dead (The Bleeker St. Theatre).
Regional work includes: Hamlet (The Butchers’ Guild) as well as countless children’s plays and musicals for The Cornwall Central School District, Cornwall Theatre and Arts, Riverside Children’s Theater, The Bishop Dunn Memorial School, and The Peekskill High School. She has worked on costumes for several broadway shows including The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid, as well as for Royal Caribbean International Cruises. Head Wardrobe Mistress for The American Songbook (Lincoln Center Jazz) which included artists such as, Duncan Sheik, Elaine Stritch, Megan Mullaly, and Audra Macdonald.
Carolyn has also been a presenter at The New York State Theatre Education yearly conference since 2020.
