The department offers majors or correlates in Art History and Studio Art, as well as a track in architecture. Enriched by a comprehensive college art museum, both majors culminate in a one-semester senior thesis or independent studio project.

Joyce Kozloff is an internationally recognized artist and feminist who was an originating member of the Pattern and Decoration movement. Maps are the foundation for her recent paintings which employ mutations to raise geopolitical issues and chart the sites of current wars and conflicts.

Join Dr. Isabella Rosner, Curator of Textiles at the Royal School of Needlework for this special talk that explores the history of the Royal School of Needlework’s history, current work, and collection. In this talk, Isabella will survey the history of the RSN’s Collection and explore several key pieces in it, including a 7th-century Coptic weaving to 21st-century Chinese silk painting.
