Vassar Yesterday

Each year, Vassar seniors are honored at spring convocation for completing their studies, while juniors are welcomed into next year’s senior class. This spring seniors were advised by AAVC guest speaker Adam Aberman ’94 to “Go with your gut” and follow a lifelong passion rather than a prescribed career path in all their future endeavors. Aberman’s speech was followed by a keynote address and piano performance by Blanca Uribe, retiring George Sherman Dickinson Professor of Music. Perhaps the seniors pictured above, attending their spring convocation on May 29, 1933, were given similar advice.—L.D.
