Hudson Malone’s Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon sugar

Splash club soda

2 orange slices (without the rind)

1 maraschino cherry

2 Filthy black cherries* (you can substitute fresh amarena cherries)

2.5 ounces Michter’s rye whiskey

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish: orange slice, maraschino cherry, and Filthy black cherry

Glass: Old Fashioned

Directions:

Muddle all the ingredients except the whiskey and club soda into a fruity paste in an Old-Fashioned glass. Add the whiskey and fill with ice. Top with the club soda and garnish with an orange slice, a maraschino cherry, and a Filthy black cherry or a fresh amarena cherry.
