Biology majors may receive Honors by fulfilling 2 or more of the following criteria:

1. Outstanding academic achievement
2. Outstanding initiative and integrative ability as demonstrated by performance in advanced biology courses
3. Creativity and initiative through excellent independent or intensive work
4. Evidence of significant contribution to biology community

The Biology Department reserves complete discretion in the granting of honors.
