Inclusive History

Oral History Video Booth

These videos capture the stories, experiences, and reflections of several members of the AAAVC and contribute to a history of what it has meant to be a Black student at Vassar over the years.

The video booth recordings were captured during the Triennial XIV, which was held on campus April 12–14, 2024, and marked the 40th anniversary of the AAAVC. The theme of the weekend was “Storytelling: Creating Our Future, Celebrating Our Past,” and the Oral History Video Booth project is part and parcel of that theme.
