National Volunteer Week
Dear Vassar Community,
Vassar is involved in many efforts to build partnerships with organizations and groups within the town and city of Poughkeepsie and we’re hoping you’ll help us continue to grow those partnerships during National Volunteer Week, April 16-21.
Interested in helping with a riverside cleanup or city park beautification project? We have several opportunities throughout the week—both weekdays and on the weekend—and in some cases, we’re providing transportation.
Click on the link below to sign up for one of our volunteer opportunities—most last a few hours. Vassar employees volunteering during their regularly scheduled hours (who have supervisor approval to participate) will get paid for the hours working on the community project. Staff, service, security employees who volunteer for a time outside their normally scheduled hours will not be paid.
