Sad News about Michael P. Hanagan

I am writing with very sad news.
Michael P. Hanagan died on September 14, 2018, from complications of Parkinson’s Disease, at the Berkshire Medical Center hospital near his second home in the Berkshire Mountains. He was 71. After teaching at Vanderbilt, Columbia, and The New School, Michael was Adjunct Professor of History at Vassar from 2003 until his retirement in 2013. He is survived by his spouse, Miriam Cohen; his daughter Nora Hanagan and spouse Melanie Priestman; his daughter Julia Hanagan and spouse Nathan Verbiscar-Brown; and his grandchild Leah Hanagan. Funeral arrangements are being arranged.
