Update regarding self-study for re-accreditation

Dear all,

As many of you know, we are in the final steps of our self-study for re-accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The draft of the self-study is available for review on the assessment website. Please have a look at it (use your Vassar username and password to access the site) and send any comments you have, no later than February 6th, in order to incorporate them into the final submitted document.

Just a reminder that the visiting team, chaired by Kim Cassidy, President of Bryn Mawr College, will be on campus 3/31–4/3. The visiting team will meet with many campus groups at that time, and I thank you in advance for being available and welcoming to them.

Lastly, my thanks to all who have contributed to this; in particular, I want to thank Associate Dean of Faculty Teresa Garrett and the Self-study Steering Committee, who have been working on this process for almost 2 years! We think we are in good shape.
