National Volunteer Week

Dear all,

Vassar continues to explore ideas and programs that foster partnership with the Town and City of Poughkeepsie. In that light, we wanted to highlight that April 7-13, 2019 is National Volunteer Week and there are several ways that you can volunteer locally during that time.

First, Vassar is partnering Community Matters 2 and many other local organizations on a community wide clean up on April 13 from 10am -12pm. We are hoping for a sizable and energetic Vassar team to help on this Citywide effort. Please sign up this week if you interested at http://bit.ly/2Tfn0up.

If you are interested in volunteering at another time or place, The United Way of Dutchess and Orange County has a directory of volunteer opportunities for the community at https://volunteer.uwdor.org/.
