A message from President Bradley regarding a petition to remove a member of the Board of Trustees

Dear All,

I am writing to address a concern among some members of our Vassar community that has come to my attention. A petition has circulated over the weekend regarding a member of the Board of Trustees, and calls for the Board member to be removed.

We take such concerns from students and alumnae/i very seriously, and understand the significant issues involved here. I have personally contacted the Chair of the Board to request that the Executive Committee review these concerns. He has agreed, and will promptly bring it to the Board's Executive Committee.

As always, please reach out to me if you have any additional concerns. I am eager to keep the lines of communication open.
