Updated COVID-19 Guidelines

Dear all,

Our case rate is still low and as more people become vaccinated, we are ready to make the following announcements:

• Academic Departments and Programs may permit a small number of fully vaccinated family visitors to attend end-of-semester events—such as recitals, performances, competitions, and presentations—following specific health and safety protocols that must be approved by the Vassar Together Special Requests Committee prior to family attendance at such events can begin. Commencement and in-person pre-Commencement receptions will be for students and faculty only.
• Fully vaccinated family members and friends may visit on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Guests must sign up for an available three-hour time slot and may not stay on campus overnight.
• Students may gather outside in groups of no more than 50 students to watch Vassar sponsored events (e.g., athletic, concerts, other).
• Students may eat with their pods in outdoor Arlington restaurants.

We hope these changes will help us through the spring, and thank you all again for working hard to keep the Vassar community healthy and safe.
