Sad News: Roberto Espinosa

Dear all,

I am writing again with sad news. Roberto Espinosa, an employee in Custodial Services, passed away recently. Roberto started working at Vassar in March 2015 as a Janitor, and he continued in this position for nearly 8 years.

Roberto was known to be a dedicated and hard worker. Roberto’s contributions to the custodial team were felt by many: students, staff, faculty, families, and other campus visitors. Not a day goes by without someone remarking how beautiful and well kept our campus is—Roberto had a role to play in that.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
