An Update on the Community Works 2025 Campaign

Dear friends and colleagues,

Thank you sincerely from everyone on the Community Works Committee for your continued support and valiant efforts to assist us in trying to reach our 2025 campaign goal of $87,500. Although we fell slightly short of that goal, we did have an impressive rally in December bringing our total of combined one-time donations and payroll pledges to $69,036.

To keep our community updated on how these funds will be used, each member of the committee has volunteered to serve as a liaison to one of our 2025 grantees throughout 2025. We will share their great work in Poughkeepsie and the surrounding area on our website and Facebook.

We welcome new members to the Community Works committee for the 2026 campaign. Please consider joining us! Planning meetings will begin in late August 2025. Reach out to any current committee member for more information or to express interest.

Finally, if you made a donation in the 2024 calendar year of $250 or more you will be receiving an acknowledgement for tax purposes via email this week. If you require one for a smaller amount email nscalessa@vassar.edu. Please note, this includes one-time donations made in 2024 for the 2025 campaign and payroll deductions made for the 2024 campaign.
