Dean of Strategic Planning and Academic Resources

Dear all,

I am writing to let you know that Dean Marianne Begemann, Dean of Strategic Planning and Academic Resources (DOSPAR) has let me know she will be retiring as of June 30, 2026. Since 2012, Dean Begemann has been an exceptional DOSPAR, and we will miss her dearly.

As per the Governance, the Committee on Committees will put out a call for nominations to the DOSPAR search committee, which will begin work this spring.

Please join me in thanking Dean Begemann for her steadfastness and congratulating her on her retirement!
