Hannah Groch-Begley ’12 writes “I work as a media fact-checker and researcher, so I’m constantly hunting down reliable sources while trying to convey complex information clearly and efficiently in my writing. Vassar History helped me develop the critical skills I need for this work—from how to ask the right questions to how to structure an argument—while consistently reminding me to look for the untold side of every story.” Hannah also shared with us on a recent visit to campus how the writing skills she honed as a History Major really helped her stand out on the job market among many other applicants.
