LECTURE: Survival Instinct: A Dancer’s Story of Self-Reinvention, Steven Caras presents a compelling lecture with PowerPoint, revealing personal and professional milestones and setbacks, from being one of New York City Ballet's youngest recruits to becoming its ultimate image maker.

MASTER CLASS: All are welcome to observe Steven Caras teach a ballet master class to Vassar’s advanced dancers.

The Steven Caras Residency at Vassar College is presented by the Dance Department and the Palmer Gallery, sponsored by the Dean of Faculty Office and the Media Studies and Art departments; and conceived and underwritten by Margaret Wellington ’69 and Robin Woodard ’69.
