A lecture based on Kwan’s new book, Love Dances: Loss and Mourning in Intercultural Collaboration, which explores intercultural duets between artists of different backgrounds, with particular attention to “East”-“West” collaborations. Kwan revisits the area of interculturalism by looking at duet form, draws on personal experience, and analyzes emotion.
