This Talking About Teaching session will discuss community-based learning opportunities supported by the Community-Engaged Intensives in the Humanities (CEIH) initiative. Katherine Hite and community partner Sara Inoa; Kimberly Williams Brown and community partner Maritza Del Razo; and Maria Hantzopoulos and community partner Sam Cavagnolo will share their experiences incorporating community-based learning opportunities into Intensives. Bill Hoynes and Elizabeth Cannon will also provide information on the application process for the CEIH Mellon Grant.
