The students of FILM 222, Curating Microcinemas, are hosting a free community film screening festival at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory on the evenings of April 27 & 28 for adults and the afternoon of April 29 for children. Sleepytime Cinema is an immersive and dreamlike experience that will transport you to an otherworldly realm. This free event will feature a carefully curated selection of renowned films from all over the world as well as community-submitted short films. With our cozy atmosphere, comfortable seating, and a selection of free snacks, Sleepytime Cinema is the perfect place to relax and indulge in an evening of cinematic escapism. The Impossibly Microcinema presents The Children’s Cinema! This free event is an all-ages film and arts celebration, including a program of interactive animated films. We will conclude the event by making and watching a collective “cameraless” film together! Costumes welcome! Join us for free snacks, interactive entertainment, and an afternoon of fun.
