Bachfest: Bach the Master

The Hudson Valley’s Bachfest Chorus & Orchestra returns with works for chorus and orchestra featuring Buxtehude’s Jesu, meines Lebens Leben and Bach’s Cantata 34 O ewiges Feuer, O Ursprung der Liebe, Cantata 191 Gloria in excelsis Deo, and the Triple Concerto for Flute, Violin, and Harpsichord

Bachfest events are sponsored by the Hudson Valley Society for Music. Additional sponsors include the Central Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and the Vassar College Department of Music. A free-will offering will be accepted at the door.
