A Conversation with Robert Jones Jr.

Robert Jones Jr. is the author of The Prophets, the Common Reading for Vassar’s Class of 2028. Jones received his BFA in creative writing and MFA in fiction from Brooklyn College and is the creator and curator of the social justice and social media community “Son of Baldwin.” His writing has been featured in The New York Times, Essence, and The Paris Review, as well as in the critically acclaimed anthologies Four Hundred Souls and The 1619 Project. He will discuss his debut novel with Africana Studies Professor Michael Reyes Salas.
