Camryn Spero ’24 and Courtney Spero ’24 choreographed Distance, selected for performance at Young Voices in Dance at the 41st Annual Battery Dance Festival. Distance investigates what it means to be part of a collective and how to reconcile the fleeting time and space we have to explore the relations within it.  Originally premiered during the Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre’s Fall 2021 performance series, the cast of ten VRDT dancers performed Distance on the outdoor stage of the festival in lower Manhattan on Aug. 13, 2022. The performance was live-streamed to audiences worldwide.
