Peipei Qiu, the Louise Boyd Dale, and Alfred Lichtenstein Chair Professor, was invited by the BBC World Service to help create a radio program, “Witness History: ‘Comfort Women’ of World War Two.” Professor Qiu, who has written widely on this topic, facilitated BBC’s interview with one of the surviving women, Peng Zhuying, serving as the interpreter and English-language voice-over.
