Acclaimed writer Michael Chabon will deliver the 2023 William Gifford Lecture

Michael Chabon is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of several bestselling books, including The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. Hailed by the New York Times as “an immensely gifted writer and magical prose stylist,” Chabon has produced stellar work in different genres: novels, short-story collections, essay collections, screenplays and scripts for film and television. He also scripted Star Trek Discovery: Calypso, and was executive producer, writer and showrunner for the premiere season of Star Trek: Picard starring Patrick Stewart. In March 2012, he was voted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
