The chief architects responsible for the restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris, Philippe Villeneuve and Pascal Prunet, will discuss the massive reconstruction project following a catastrophic fire in 2019. This Claflin Lecture will be held in honor of Andrew Tallon, the late Vassar Associate Professor of Art, who devised an ingenious drone outfitted with a digital camera that enabled him to create the most accurate images of the interior of the cathedral. His research is proving invaluable for the restoration work.

Claflin Lecture Series events are free and open to members of the Vassar College community. Tickets are required for admission and are available at Campus Activities. The program will be videotaped and made available online at a later date.
