The Loeb Art Center is adding special weekday open hours for the public for three weeks only, November 24–December 13, to accommodate more visitors in the final weeks of its bilingual exhibition, Miracles on the Border: Retablos of Mexican Migrants to the United States/Milagros en la Frontera: Retablos de los migrantes mexicanos a los Estados Unidos. Open hours during this period will be Tuesday–Saturday 10am–5pm, with extended hours on Thursday evenings until 8pm; and Sunday 1pm–5pm.

“We’re excited to be able to make this visually compelling—and deeply moving—exhibition available to a larger number of visitors before the show closes,” says Bart Thurber, the Anne Hendricks Bass Director of the Loeb. Noting that all museums have had to adapt during the pandemic, and many remain closed, Thurber adds “In August we were just happy to re-open to the public at all, and have been welcoming visitors on a weekends-only schedule, but we look forward to increasing the hours to include weekdays during this special period.”

Besides the Miracles on the Border exhibition, which is on loan from the Princeton University Art Museum, visitors to the Loeb can enjoy the permanent collection galleries and several other temporary exhibitions on view.

After December 13, the Loeb will be open one more weekend (Dec. 19/20) before a short winter break, and reopen on January 2 when weekend-only hours will resume (Saturday 10am–5pm and Sunday 1pm–5pm).
