Vassar Leads in Fulbright Grants

According to the Institute of International Education, Vassar is again among the top 10 undergraduate institutions whose recent graduates have earned Fulbright awards. In 2008-2009, 10 Fulbrights were awarded to Vassar alumni (out of 42 applicants). Only Pomona, Smith, Pitzer, and Kenyon colleges had a greater number of successful applicants. Read More …

Vassar Community Works in Action

The 9th annual Community Works campaign kicked off at the end of last month and will continue throughout December, with its sights set on the goal of raising $100,000. Extant since 2001, the philanthropic campaign, spearheaded by a committee of Vassar staff, administrators, faculty, and students, aims to offer financial support to not-for-profit organizations in the Hudson Valley.
